ALL-UK NOMINATION AFFIRMS CONTINUED INDUSTRY GROWTH
The Music Of Black Origin awards, 'the MOBOs', the UK's flagship
mainstream Black music awards, returned tonight with its nomination
announcement. All the acts in the gospel category were from the
UK...
The MOBOs continue what many will see as a step in the right direction, returning to its UK roots, a move that quite obviously started last year...

This time around, the extremely UK-friendly nominations acknowledges the phenomenal growth of the UK industry over the past 18 months, with a strong and extremely worthy nomination field
of local talent, and less emphasis on international contributions, a move that is certain to make many in the Black community very pleased.

The UK gospel music industry also benefits from the renewed focus as all the acts in the gospel category are not only UK-based, but also well deserving, and drawn from a decent range of contemporary gospel music from Pop to Garage to Hip-hop to RnB:
