OASIS AWARDS RESCHEDULES FOR AUTUMN 2008
The Oasis Awards has announced the event will return Autumn 2008 to honour the achievements of the growing UK Gospel industry.
It was originally slated for November 2007 as part of Gospel Gathering, but logistics and time constraints meant the executive board at the Oasis Awards made the decision to hold back till 2008.
"It is with regret that I inform you that the Oasis Awards, originally set for 2007 has had to be postponed till later this year due to a lack of sponsorship and sponsor's change of heart", says Oasis Awards president and CEO of o3 Media (the events company behind the Oasis Awards), RONEY HENDERSON
"This was a surprise and meant that the show would suffer a severe loss. With this in mind it has been discussed and agreed by o3 events and their partners that the Oasis Awards will go ahead a little later than scheduled, autumn 2008..."

She continued: "The awards will also undergo a revamp to its format, opting to return to its original status as an up-market industry affair taking place at a top London hotel...
Nominations are currently open and will continue with a new closing date to be set. The official awards ceremony date along with some of its key performers and presenters will be announced later this year...
