MANTIS (left) for 'WONDERCALL (Voicemail To An A&R)': there's quite
simply nothing else like it out there (even now in 2007)...
> WELCOME BACK...

> 'IT TAKES MORE THAN JUST WISHFUL THINKING'...

> 'ALREADY BIG ON ROAD...'
WATCHMAN, GOSPEL GRAND SUMMIT, OASIS AWARDS...

(Thank you for not just dreaming the dream but actually putting UK gospel music out there alongside the international players):

JANINE LEVY for the US/UK collaboration project that was 'THE NEW SOUND OF GOSPEL'...
JULIET FLETCHER for bringing Verity's MAX SIEGEL to the Gospel Grand Summit...

The entire Grime Movement spearheaded by people like L DUBZY, COMMISSION, VICTIZZLE and TRIPLE O...
Okay; this has gone on far longer than I anticipated. Much of what you've read here should either be obsolete or glaringly obvious by now. Like I said earlier; I wrote it late last year/early 2007.

And now - after a WORRYINGLY quiet start - 2007 is now moving at a blistering pace.

Great new releases abound, the live scene is vibrant, MySpace is an absolute haven for music from both new and established artists. All of this bodes well for my 2007 review (which I'm hoping wouldn't be as late as this one )

So what better way to sign off than to say this: if you're an artist, I hope I'll be writing about you next year. If you're not, I hope this has been of some use to you...

Either way, our ultimate aim has to be the taking of this powerful message of Christ's sacrifice far beyond ourselves, beyond those that already know, wisely and effectively depositing it directly into other peoples' lives...
