FOUR KORNERZ's debut album, 'SOULECTRIC' was two
years in the making.

In a sense, whether FOUR KORNERZ happened by accident or design is irrelevant. What's
far more important is that their existence soundly disproves the theory about the need for
major-label involvement in creating something that's capable of generating serious interest.
If you get things right in the first place, serious investment will inevitably follow.

Although the title says this is a FOUR KORNERZ special, in some ways their success belongs to us all.
In celebrating all that is achievable as an independent specialist/minority music genre within the
compact Black UK music industry, we have to acknowledge the work of their label UB1 MUSIC, the
imagination of JAMES FREEMAN and CHRISTOPHE PIERRE, the passion of the boys themselves, and
collective keenness of the UK gospel music fans and industry in supporting them.
The simple truth is this: in attaining what they have so far, things invariably point to the fact that we
all have the potential to do the same. And - indeed - quite a few of us have already. Enjoy...
